the Ardour team is on the verge of releasing Ardour 6.0, and is not
interested in fixing bugs in 5.12. This means this bug probably will see

Hi Bryan,
ubuntustudio.org *is* https if called upon explicitly. There is an open
RT ticket to fix the http-https redirect, but there hasn't been any
action on it since January when we installed our new wordpress theme.
Perhaps this bug would help speed things along if IS knows this is

This was a tricky one to verify as I had to install 18.04, launch rapid-
photo-downloader, then upgrade to 20.04 to duplicate the issue. As it's
intermittent, it took a couple of tries to get the crash to happen, but
it did and somewhat reproducibly thereafter.

Actually, this seems more like a support request since there's no real
information here. Since support requests are not appropriate for a bug
tracker, this is invalid. Additionally, this is an ancient bug, and
newer versions of Blender may have this fixed.

I don't believe this is a bug with qastools since it simply tells alsa
what to do. Also, the issue can be duplicated on alsamixer. qasmixer
itself doesn't save anything, neither does alsamixer. Something
somewhere isn't remembering between reboots, but it's definitely not
qastools related.

Please install the version of jackd2 in the Ubuntu Studio Backports PPA
found at https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-
ppa/+archive/ubuntu/backports/+packages to see if that fixes the
problem. If it does, then I might be able to set-up a Stable Release
Update (SRU) to get it into 20.04.

Sebastien, yeah, it's uploaded. Except proper SRU procedure is that,
once I have it done, I unassign myself and let the SRU team set it as
"Fix Commited", afaik. Hence, I unassigned myself and didn't change the
status.
