Thanks for the suggestion. I setup logging for cgi but unfortunately search.cgi
wasn't complaining verbosely about what was wrong. I decided to write a perl script
to try to access the db and just list the contents of a table. Found out

Attempting to run search.cgi on Compaq Tru64 5.1 with Apache and Postgres. Can run
./search.cgi and get valid html at the command line. When run from server
(http://server/cgi-bin/search.cgi) Apache gives Internal Server Error
