Watching the buffoon  below  deceive fellow citizens and members of the International Community is ,  repugnant to say the least. Which "Kony rebels" is this fellow talking about?  Could it be that the war in Northern Uganda continues unabated because the so called "kony rebels" are actually UPDF Museveni soldiers who are the ones killing our people?  If this be the case, bringing peace to northern Uganda  will and must involve containing the UPDF.   Anything else is merely engaging in a futile exercise which will lead the people of Uganda no where. This of course include drinking the OFUT ( peace potion think) ..Think about it!   Matek ICRC aids 700,000 displaced persons

THE International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has aided 711,000 people, reflecting 48% of displaced persons in the north, writes Henry Mukasa. ICRC deputy head of delegation Maryse Limoner said the aid reached 142,000 households in 69 camps. The aid is in the form of medicine, water, food, non-food items and security, Limoner said. The head of delegation, Pierre Andre, said ICRC’s mandate was to improve the situation of civilians trapped in the conflict by ensuring economic security, provision of water and sanitation and care for the sick and wounded. “We are neutral in terms of the politics but we side with the victims,” Andre said. The ICRC officials made the remarks at a media conference on the operations of the international agency at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala last week. On the conditions of detainees, ICRC’s assessment of international humanitarian law violations and whether the Government’s approach to rebellion was cause for the despicable situation in the north, Andre said, “We cannot say the direction being taken by a government would lead to conflict because we might be wrong and lose credibility.
