These are things that are done daily in our country and remain accepted. Listen
to this commentator, he says that they were raped, but by whom? Japanese? Nope
Ugandans who we eat with today and tomorrow. And that is the tragedy of our
friends that removed Iddi Amin from power for they create a havoc and simply
walk away. And when you listen to Ugandans the highest number of those
preaching how we must forget history but build the future are the very same
Ugandans that sat or got built by Moshi conference. I do not know a single
Amin supporter or a Lugbara an Alur a Kakwa a Munubbi clinging on we must never
look back but look forward. When you challenge an Amin’s soldier of human
rights abuse, by far and most of them agree to stand anywhere for trial. But
try telling these friends that raping people is bad, wow now you have a God
damn frail Acholi in UK who feels trauma for you have said Acholi’s raped many
women. NRA went to The North and raped these people, is it a crime to raise it?
Well I am Muganda and I know many of those that raped these people are Baganda
should I be offended? No I need them tried. We simply cannot walk through life
this way by getting people tortured and we keep on moving on.

Is it possible that those preaching to forget history and move on are the very
rapists among us? Just asking

Is this where Major Kakooza Mutale learnt the lessons he would later
utilize in the Kalangala Action Plan?
-

In 1980, Roland Kakooza Mutale would bear witness to horrific events
in Makindye.
There was the beating to death of one Dr. Kununka, who was lashed and
thrown into a water tank. Another man, brought to Makindye in May
1980, bled to death in front of the two. They were asked to bury him
and in the process a commander thirsty for the blood of the two ex-
journalists asked to shoot them
himself. They escaped apparently
because this man asked for a
silenced pistol, which did not
come in time. However one Magala, was shot dead to Kakooza’s right in
a line-up. Seven others died that day and Kakooza, struck with an iron
bar survived in a comatose state. As the dead were loaded onto a
Landrover, they were
stabbed to ensure they were
indeed deceased. Mrs. Kakooza
later went to find the remains and
check if her husband was amongst
them. He wasn’t.
Many horrible things happened according to the two. Kakooza said a
man’s pelvis was set on fire with paraffin. He died in agony.

Roland Kakooza Mutale. Witness

“Throughout my period in
Makindye they used to bring in
people and kill them at night.
When you leave the quarter-guard
you go towards the sick bay, just
beside there was a grave. If you try
to dig there is a mass grave. I saw
this, I participated in burying in
darkness. There was also an
underground cell, which was dark.
Everyday you would hear wails and
crying, a man crying for some time
then the crying would cease, then
you would see bodies removed
from the place. Certain moments
intensified the killings. The eve of Obote’s coming back spelt death
because people were arrested and brought as anti-UPC or anti-Obote and
they were killed.
At that time, an Acholi soldier took his bayonet and I was sitting

now Ugandans are stupid to such a deep as looking at Besigye as their savior

WBK,

My point exactly! That is what I implied yesterday.

Unfortunately, Col Besigye has not disclosed the format of the negotiation,
yet. So, all we have to go by is hypothetical speculations here and there.

May be you know (I don't) know what Col Besigye has in mind or on whose
initiative.

I do think though, that it shall be a complex equation involving many sets,
sub-sets, unions and intersection.

First off ofcourse, is to get President Musevenis blessing or to have him
initiate the initiative. Which concretely implies structuring the initiatives
in sustainable sequences.

For example resolving whether negotiating President Museveni's exit also
implies per automatiken separating the Presidency from the NRM or from the
NRA?!!?

I do not know how that is possible since the NRM won the last election.

Does negotiating for President Museveni's exit equate calling for a new fresh
General Election? Or merely calling for the NRM to elect a new leader?

Hmm, I am really thirsting for elucidation from the Col.

“WE FORM THE CULTURE THAT FORMS US”….noc’la gaumoy.

Folks:

YKM was actually responding to Dr KB's suggestion that Ugandans can negotiate
his retirement through peaceful means. Incidentally, YKM's statement affirms
Dr KB's statement.

YKM also threw a gauntlet to opposition leaders and Ugandan voters to do the
right thing: mobilize and cause the right environment which can send home to
Rwakitura or Kisozi to retire.

Forget the audacity of such a claim, but if Uganda is some sort of democracy
why not?

President Robert Mugabe has reportedly fired some cabinet ministers
including Vice President Joyce Mujuru in the much awaited shake-up following
the Zanu PF congress which ended Sunday in Harare. Sources said among the
ministers who have been sacked are energy minister Dzikamai Mavhaire, and
his deputy Munacho Mutezo, Didymus Mutasa, Nicholas Goche, Francis Nhema and
Sylvester Nguni.

It is starting to look that we have about 11 ministers in total fired so
far.

[Ugnet] JUST A PUBLIC APEAL

2014-12-09 Thread Herrn Edward Mulindwa
Fellow Ugandans

And I know I am trying and very hard to swim up-steam here for in as much as
I try as so hard to raise the rapes of women in Uganda, many of the members
in these forums really don’t care for those raped are not their close
relatives. In as much as I try to raise the danger Uganda women face when we
add an Acholi with a gun, Ugandans still do not care for I am still failing
to get the noise I need about stopping to rape Uganda women, for you have a
God damn gun in your hands. But as I so continue to raise the nightmare
Uganda women have and continue to face with Acholis, we need a second to
recognize the deaths in DRC. From the beginning of this week, there has been
such massive attacks with so many people dying. You get reports of 30 killed
here and 50 killed there and the nonsense continues. Friends we need to
raise up and scream at these happenings, and yes you can rape a woman for
you have a gun, and yes you can murder any one for you have gun, but the
results of having a traumatized society, is going to hunt you down or your
children down the God damn road. We have so much violence in our Great Lakes
society and we need to cut the crap and raise up against it at minimum by
talking about it. Let us all remember, that in as much as Acholis inflicted
the pain to society by raping molesting looting and murdering everyone in
their face, they forgot that society can beat them in violence and they
ended up camped. Let us kindly think about our future and the future of our
kids by going after these barbaric acts.

What is in DRC needs everyone to raise up and scream bloody murder but
today.

[Ugnet] {UAH} IDDI AMIN NEVER TARGETED LANGIs/ACHOLIs, THEY TARGETED HIM { ---------Series eighteen }

2014-12-09 Thread Herrn Edward Mulindwa
Friends

Before 1962, Uganda which became one country under colonial administration, was
peaceful and progressing. Tribal conflict between Buganda and Bunyoro Kitara
had ended and Ugandans from North to South, East to West looked forward to
visiting Kampala their country's capital city where most actions took place.
When Uganda got independence, Ugandans still hoped that the peace that existed
under colonial administration would still continue and they would contribute
equally to move their young nation forward under the theme: One people One
country. That honeymoon was short lived and hope shattered as Nakulabye
predicted what was yet to come. It was prelude to Uganda's tribal future.

That future was to be defined in 1966 by two men in whose hands colonial
administrators handed the crested crane, Uganda's national symbol. It was the
first realization that tribal division and conflict would tear Uganda apart.
Instead of negotiating the common misunderstanding that had occurred between
the State House and Bulange Sir Edward Mutesa's residence no longer King of
Buganda, but Present of Uganda, Dr. Apollo Milton Obote, no longer a son of
goat herder in Akokoro but President of Uganda, ordered Iddi Amin to attack
Lubiri and bring Mutesa to him dead or alive. Whether by God's grace, or
magezi ga Baganda through mayembe, the king escaped and to be returned home
in a casket by the same person who was ordered to kill him in the first place.
What happened in 1966 said a lot, that Obote's only way of resolving conflict
whether personal or national was through the gun, or arrest, because he did the
same thing in 1971 when he ordered his military head Amin to be arrested. It is
very unfortunate, that our friends the Acholi and Lango have failed to
acknowledge the source of Uganda's political unrest, social economic and
cultural collapse which originated from their hometown of Lira backed
militarily by Kitgum and Gulu. The distrust between Amin a Kakwa and Obote a
Lango was already well established before the coup of 1971 considering that
Amin had briefly disappeared following the assassination attempt on Obote's
life. The coup of 1971 sealed Uganda's future in blood as both men Amin and
Obote decided to settle their scores militarily using Uganda as their
battlefield with Acoli and Lango siding with their own president Dr. Apollo
Milton while Amin falling back to his tribal base West Nile and leaving the
rest of Ugandans headless.

The entire decade of 1970s was marked by conflict between Acholi, Lango and
Nubians with a few Ugandans joining in without knowing the purpose of the
conflict in which they were involved. Of course, what was obvious was that
Obote was determined to regain his presidency and Amin was determine to protect
his own life by keeping his enemies at bay. Obote however, had an upper hand
with support from Tanzania and the international community and by the end of
the decade of the 70s he had mastered enough support to show Amin the door.
Without wasting time Acholi went straight to Amin's home region and massacred
the people in revenge and by doing so cementing the division that existed
between West Nile and Acholi. To this day, even though there is pretense that
normal relationship exists between the two regions, there is none. Both regions
are seriously wounded by each other beyond repair. This has provided an
excellent opportunity for Museveni to rule Uganda for life. Without active
participation politically and militarily of West Nile and Madi districts, there
is no way Museveni is going anywhere. Even if he goes, his own people will take
charge. And the blame lies squarely on the doorsteps of Acholi and Lango for
being trigger happy and refusing to acknowledge their obvious role in sowing
seeds of distrust in Uganda and burying its future prematurely. I had a hope
that my series would create an opportunity for real dialogue in which every
tribe acknowledges their role in bringing Uganda down. To my disappointment, it
is taboo to say that Acholi did this or that. You cannot treat a patient unless
they accept that they have a problem.

Strangely Acholis have no problem on Uganda what so ever.

Stay in the forum for Series nineteen is on the way --
