Ugandans

There are issues we must find very interesting and worth a time to notice.

For some time there has been a charge that if Northerners want peace we can have it today, in fact other statements have  as well indicated that Konny is surviving for the Northerners are backing him for they hate Museveni, NRM and any leadership from the South. I have had a huge problem accepting that phenomenon for the fact that how can Northerners support a man like Konny who does such atrocities to the populace in Northern Uganda which is a home to the same people? It failed to make sense to me, but all indications I have in Uganda are that the atrocities committed in Northern Uganda are committed by UPDF under the cover of Konny. In fact I happen to be one of those who wonder the existence of Konny. But yesterday New Vision printed an article where abducted kids were being kept in safety, so you wonder who is playing Konny?

Well now as by Dr. Kigongo the majority of the enlisted men in NRA are of Northern Uganda origin. You see all those UPDF soldiers you see in Uganda, the majority of them are actually Northerners, as by the same Doctor Kigongo. So in fact if we claim that UPDF is killing Ugandans in Northern Uganda we must as well remember that Uganda today has an army with a majority of Northerners.

Omusawo Kigongo, thank you for the new info.

Mw Ssejjengo,

you have written:

people as opposed to Nilotics, the answer is

You should check this info with someone knowledgeable on the matter. I do not have exact figures but my info is that the majority of the enlisted men in the NRA are of Northern Ugandan origin, whilst the majority of the officers are
Southern.
