The National Library of Ireland (NLI) have launched ‘Revealing
Histories’, a new digital campaign highlighting material that relates
to the political and social upheaval of 1922. Letters, photographs,
diaries, political posters and much more, reveal the life, times and
personal stories of Kathleen Clarke, Arthur Griffith, Hanna
Sheehy-Skeffington and Austin Stack, allowing online visitors to
experience the Ireland of their day through their eyes.

Fairfax Genealogical Society members and other researchers for a
return to an in-person spring fair on March 12th, 2022, 9:00 am to
4:00 pm, to “Celebrate Your Shamrock Roots: Irish and Scots-Irish
Research.” We will be welcoming the return of the Ulster Historical
Foundation (UHF).
Registration fees are $60 FxGS members/$70 non-members, with $70 FxGS
members/$80 non-members after February 19, 2022. For those choosing
the virtual option, we will email a Zoom link to the presentations and
presentation handouts close to but before the March 12, 2022
presentation date. In-person attendees will receive presentation
handouts by email before March 12, 2022.
