7) The Society of Genealogists recently announced that for family
historians, 'Women's History Month' offers the perfect opportunity to
explore the lives of our women ancestors - be they suffragettes,
social activists, healers, or artists. (Nurses, teachers, Writers
etc.) Have you found any women in your family tree who broke the bias
of the period in which they lived?

8) Findmypast has added to it's newspapers - 'Irish Emerald'
1881-1888, 1890-1912 and you may now be able to find your Ulster born

11) RootsIreland has recently added 386 family surname histories to
the Roots Ireland database. These surname histories cover mostly names
from the north-west of Ireland. These family histories are free to
view at no cost and with no limit "to those with a current
subscription."
