The Ulster American Folk park in Omagh, Co. Tyrone is open Tuesday -
Sunday (times vary so check with them), and has introduced "The Bad
Bridget" exhibition, which tells the stories of thousands of women who
left Ireland for North America between 1838 and 1918. Some of these
women found themselves in trouble with the authorities as they
struggled to survive.

This exhibition (the first new one in 4 years) runs from Friday 15
