It’s been a long journey with Teena from the days of the original Co. Tyrone List all those years ago, and I admire her dedication to helping people with Co. Tyrone roots. I wish both Teena and Tammy all the very best with this new list. My family research started in 1889 in Sydney, Australia when Robert WILLIS b. 1859 in Cohannon, Killyman, Co. Tyrone married Elizabeth LOVE born about 1862 in Co. Armagh. Much to my surprise, I found that in the late 1700’s BOTH families attended the same church in Killyman. I have often wondered whether Robert and Elizabeth knew one another when they were younger, even though Elizabeth’s family moved to Scotland in the 1870’s. Names in my direct line are – WILLIS, BROOKS, FRASER, LOVE, WILSON, PICKEN and BINKS. Robert’s father Robert WILLIS b.1820 married 3 times – first to Jane CLARKE (from Drumglass) in 1843, then to Mary BROOKS (from Ballynakelly) in 1850 and then to Mary Jane DUNN (from Brigh) in 1865. The branches of my tree have many more Co. Tyrone and Co. Armagh names. On my maternal direct line, I have DUNLOP and McGUIGAN in Co. Antrim. Kind regards Alma Willis
