I also had this problem, and it was an incompatability with the on board network card
and the pxe net driver, perhaps trying a different network card will help solve the
problem. What I had to do was create a separate boot image with the specific driver
on it & dump the pxe driver once the imag

Unattended 4.0-test1 is now available. You can download it from:
http://unattended.sourceforge.net/testing/
SourceForge CVS is a little broken at the moment, so I rolled this
straight from my own development tree. What could go wrong?
The NEWS.txt entry looks like this so far:

IMHO you are trying the wrong drivers here.
I've just checked their website and downloaded the (FastTrack
100-)Drivers and there ist an txtsetup.oem that lists the drivers.
Maybe it helps. Sorry if this is way off. I'm not sure I should have
written it myself...

Hello,
reading the docs I get the impression that the undis3c driver should work
for almost any recent card. I tested the driver with 3c905C and 3c940 /
3c2000 cards, but it didn't found the adapters. In DRIVERS.txt it is
hinted that the driver requires a PXE/UNDI stack, hence, it is working in

Hi,
maybe I got this all wrong, so please bear with me!!
I just read the above mail in the daily digest. I once had a
FastTrack-Controller.
just as a thought: I have had a Promise FastTrack 100-Controller and it
would not work with the standard Windows-Drivers. When installing

One other thought... I have seen this happen when the network driver

Hi,
I am trying to install a HP Compaq d350 CMT with a
Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5782 NIC.
Connecting to the Network works fine. However, it freezes
after invoking perl z:\dosbin\install.pl during partitioning
or disk-formating.
The output of: fdisk /info /tech is:
Current fixed disk drive:1 (TC:10
I've found that with some DHCP servers the DHCP network configuration may
take a long time... Can you try with a different DHCP server?
