i think (but not sure, need to check this) that i'm encountering the same problem with the 10 dell optiplex gx260 pcs we have (which have been stored as a result for 4 months now since i haven't had time to sort this out) it _could_ be a problem related to file copying, but then where could we start looking? Which Windows are you trying to install ? Are you sure about the quality of your os source ? When setup hangs at 9 minutes, rebooting on a live-cd gives access to the logs. setuperr.log files reads : Error: Setup has encountered the following unhandled exception: Exception c005 at address 76C2310D with the following parameters: 010BE000 This error does not occur when setup does not hang, so I presume it's this exception which is causing the problem. I have no clue as to what is causing this error, nor how to solve it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
