I do not use DNS server at all. Who will generate dns record for me?
Windows grab netbios name quickly. The Debian server box have two NIC's
the second is used for unattended installation (DHCP, tftp and samba is
enabled on that NIC). It works fine, without DNS server.

It is not about the DNS server?
I have not use any boot disks (clean network boot, using DHCP and tftp).
How the Linux boot image suppose to recognize \\ntinstall\install - which
is a CIFS/SMB share name - ntinstall may be netbios name?
