2008-09-23 Thread Matt_Fries
I tried both the dosemu and the nt5-install, and each took nearly an hour
to copy the install files.

In case you're interested, the machine that I was using has a 3com 3c920
ethernet chip (compatible with the 3c905). I also tried a different
machine with an intel NIC, but the speed was still the same.

This same machine (in fact, all of our machines) run the unattended 4.3
linux boot disk just fine without the 4x+ decrease in speed. Maybe it has
something to do with the newer Kernel? Or maybe something just not
optimized for our network infrastructure? Any ideas?
