Peter,
If you want, you can restore the database on another server using ID 1033 and then
transfer all objects by DTS from that server onto your server in ID 2057.
It works.

The LCID 1033 is the default locale for English (i.e. en-us).
The LCID 2057 is en-gb.
There is a list in Nadine Kano's book on Internationalization.
This info is almost certainly somewhere on msdn.microsoft.com.
