Aldi did get some a/c window units in, but that was a couple months ago as
a special buy.  No they don't have phone numbers for the stores.  Even CVS
was selling window units.  Long gone of course, I think after that last
heatwave.

(215) 796-6640 - if you can get to it is showing a few window units

Since when does Aldi have a published phone number?  I would love to have it.  
I've gone there and found it to be closed, because they had no electricity,  
Other times I've gone there for one thing in particular and found they didn't 
have it,  And there was the time when one line's bank card machine wouldn't 
work (back before they took credit cards) and I had to take everything in my 
cart to another register, only to find that its bank card machine didn't work 
either.  Fortunately I had just enough cash to cover everything. All these 
experiences were at the 46th and Market location.   I suspect the newer store 
on Girard Ave. doesn't have as many problems, but it feels much farther away 
for me,


Please, if you know phone numbers for either of the stores I mentioned or the 
So. Philly store, please share them.


Also, does anyone know whether another supermarket chain intends to buy the old 
Grey's Ferry Pathmark store?  There was a rumor, which turned out not to be 
true, that Shoprite was going to move in there.
