Since you say Firefox is otherwise fine, it seems like it must be a
flash issue. Keep in mind that just because you had Flash 10 on Hardy
doesn't mean it was the exact same minor version, so a regression
between different Flash 10 versions is possible.

The backtrace instructions for Mono apps aren't real clear. I'm hoping
this .crash includes the info you were looking for. I see there's at
least a core included. I invoked banshee with 'mono --debug
/usr/lib/banshee-1/Banshee.exe'.

Cap, Are you saying that you are able to apply a fix to a running Ubuntu
instance on EC2 and get vm-builder to work correctly for you (what AMI
and what steps)? Or, are you just assuming that #293067 probably
relates because of the description?

After running: 'sudo helix-player' i went through the install process
and it worked, until i got a crash on exit.
Then i ran from menu and got the install process again and it worked and
crashed on exit.
but now helix works from menu? not sure why it just does. (no crash
report on exit)

I've uploaded a package with the patch I attached to my PPA, where it
built successfully. I installed it on a test Dapper machine, and was
able to build, install, and use the AFS kernel module.
