It's been almost four weeks since I've reported this bug, nothing changed, not
even the status.

Still no luck with Intrepid. I have removed amsn and amsndata from
system using synaptic and re-installed from command line but still not
connecting. One could assume company firewall but pidgin works fine.

I have not applied patches from SF for version 2.4.2. The package can
be installed on Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 (arch-i686). The MySQL export will

I've managed to resolve the partially installed package problem. As part
of this, I've ended up running the kernel from jaunty-proposed.
Version 2.7.1 shows the same problem - a white screen after login. I've

* Under the Window Manager options, enable Put

* For each desired viewport (desktop) assign an appropriate key
You could boot into 2.6.28, then install the set of packages you had when you
first filed this bug. After that, reboot in 2.6.30
Alternatively, you could try to set modeset=0 in /etc/modules and see if that
allows to start X with 2.6.30.

with the DRI2, but the problem with the Atmosphere feature in Google
