The gwibber package should not depend directly on libwebkit-1.0:
depending on the python bindings is enough and correct. By the way, it
would be a good time to start depending on python-webkit instead of
python-webkitgtk, which is a transitional package.

I have problem with the python-webkit package (version: 1.0.2-1ubuntu1).
I tried to use the get_uri method on a WebHistory which is from a
webkit.WebFrame.get_back_forward_list().get_back_list_with_limit(10) and I got

I have been able to reproduce this bug.
The attachment provides a workaround to this bug. Upstream is checking for the
actual error on this.

and try to build it using g++ -o minimal minimal.cpp `wx-config --cxxflags
--libs`, I get:

dkms is not possible with open-vm-tools-2009-04-23 to latest version

Yes I get this issue too in karmic when trying to install the karmic version
For your information, I take the .deb of jaunty (0.11) and installing them
without problem, then upgrade with synaptic to karmic version (0.12) and no
problem, this time it's ok and running as 0.12
