When I press a finger onto my touch screen (Dell Latitude 2100) on the
Desktop background and moving it around fast (especially down fast), the
context menu pops up. Using Karmic.

I have looked into this bug a bit more.
For some reason, the Ubuntu package has hard-coded Jack as the default
sound output instead of the default, which is auto-detection. Since Jack
isn't running on your computer, this causes playback to fail.

@Richard --- if you installed linux-crashdump and it turned on kexec by
default that sounds wrong. We would expect you to have to opt in to the

Hi,
I just want to confirm that under Ubuntu 9.04 (re)installation of the
*-unstripped-* codecs and libmlt++ as well as reconfiguration of
kdenlive works - all codecs are enabled and available to use for
rendering.

forwarded. When I configure mysql-admin to connect to localhost: it
uses the socket connection to my locally running mysql server. This is
very confusing. Only using 127.0.0.1: uses the tcp connection.

I notice this isn't absolutely all flash. For example for people on facebook:
