I cannot reproduce this bug any longer. I am sorry.
I am still using Guake 0.3.1-5 but 'uname -r' shows now 2.6.28-15-generic.
The error apparently has gone.
So I'd suggest to close this bug report until someone else notices a
re-appearance.

The debian maintainers of sbuild could integrate this tool in their
sbuild-createchroot scripts. So, please keep this in mind and try to
push this back to debian (if the maintainers of this script could push
it to us for proper integration with sbuild was the debian
