Mine has now been running fine for 3 days with no errors (it would
previously fail within 12 hours of startup). I am NOT using the

It has happened again! I had it solved for some time. I had found a
panels.rdf file in /usr/share/seamonkey and copied it to
/home/ed/.mozilla/default/.slt/ and everything worked fine
until today.
Now I get the following message on starting seamonkey:
The sidebar is currently empty.
I followed the information in the Debian bug report ; I downgraded
perlmagic from 7:6.5.1.0-1.1ubuntu3 to the version of Jaunty
6.4.5.4.dfsg1-1ubuntu3.1, and it solved the issue ; I can now save my
scanned documents as PDF without problems.

I have a similar situation as described here:

However, the system doesn't even let me log out/switch to TTY. So the only
solution is to hard-reset.
An interesting thing. If I switch to TTY1 and run a manual

The problem still exists in Jaunty. This really critical for non-english users
to use texmaker.
