Hello,
I've got a Satellite L300D and suspend/hibernate are completely broken.
I press the power button, the Shutdown the Computer dialog comes up,
and when I choose either Suspend or Hibernate, X shuts down and I see a
blank console screen with a blinking cursor in the top-left corner.

I suspect this to have something to do with the packaging. There is now
a new blender package in Karmic (2.49a+dfsg-0ubuntu2). Would you mind
checking if you still a problem there. I tried to remove blender with
`sudo apt-get remove blender` and the menu entries went away instantly.

well ~bzr PPA *and* ~bzr-beta PPAs both have bzr-gtk-0.97.0
That's ~bzr-nightly that doesn't include bzr-gtk at all, so, Morten, I
think you'd better use ~bzr PPA instead of ~bzr-nightly

The gendelta command should abort as
I am to blame for the Merkaartor update. No excuses, it was poor
judgement and poorly carried out. Furthermore, the resulting binary has
regressions of an error allegedly fixed in 0.13.2 ( bug #322515 ).
