Same here, Karmic Alpha 6. I didn't have any problems/errors intalling
Karmic, but in the grub.cfg the uuid for Jaunty was set to Karmic's
uuid. When I updated Karmic today, the manually corrected entry was
overwritten with the wrong uuid again.

I suggest this ability to support the ec2-* names should be a
requirement before the ec2-ami-tools on the Canonical EC2 images are
replaced with euca2ools (assuming euca2ools is sufficiently compatible
and stable for it to become the default).

Installed pkg with synaptic. Picked mysql, in the install setup window,
entered my mysql password and used the same password for sympa. It
folded like a house of cards. I'd SURE like to install this package
