I wonder if this is the same issue as bug #436698.
The backtrace is pretty useless, so, if you can collect any extra info that
would be beneficial. Perhaps valgrind (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Valgrind) can
help since it seems to be related to a memory corruption problem.

I removed the VBd from fstab via life CD

Sun. A manual installation of JRE is not so hard; Sun has provided an

file, but the phatch package should contain it. This is being fixed atm
in Debian and will be synced to Ubuntu.

fixed a while ago:
nspluginwrapper (1.2.2-0ubuntu6) karmic; urgency=low
* debian/patches/use_syslsb.patch; dont build LSB libs on our own;
this should unbreak flash+nspluginwrapper after latest ia32-libs
update
+ use USE_SYSTEM_LSB accordingly in debian/rules

method.
Why not compressing the ttc file of this package ?
