The listbox defect is not present for any other application in the
system tray, only knetworkmanager.
Important Note:
After the most recent synaptic updates (up to Feb 16, 2010), the defect
is back and cannot be fixed by repositioning the panel spacer.

I can confirm that opening w/ the right mouse button fixes the issue.
Subsequent clicks with the left mouse button reveal the listbox in the
correct location.
Not sure how to get the bug to return. Perhaps by rebooting (but I can't

yes i have now got rid of emesene and gone to aMSN but i did have libmimic0
installed because i installed all of the libmimic stuff i could but the
webcam feature still didn't work

I have the same problem (just says converting). I am running Ubuntu 9.10
64bit and my version of ConvertAll is 0.4.2. It used to work fine in
Ubuntu 9.04 64bit and then I upgraded to 9.10 and it stopped working. I
ultimately 'fixed' the problem though - I simply uninstalled 0.4.2 and
then
