I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X61 with Intel GM965 graphics adapter. I have
migrated my home from another Lenovo (T60) with fglrx adapter, and the
dot compiz directory had the issue.

Same thing here -- I turned it on out of curiosity and now it won't go
away, despite unchecking start on login. I'm uninstalling it now as I
don't need it anyway.
