Similarly, sometimes sound will be very scratchy and pop in and out
repeatedly.
One workaround I've discovered is to close other audio sources
(especially Firefox+flash), killall -9 pulseaudio, wait about 10 seconds
for it to restart automatically, and then run wine again. This seems to
prevent
Wine uses winbind for ntlm_auth, which is essential to any Windows
program that uses it. If you remove winbind and try to run these
programs, the error message is cryptic if even visible at all (requires
the user to be running within a terminal).

the draw a box around all thumbnails code and put it into the

The real solution to this is to get rid of the Browse C:\ Drive launcher
entirely and replace it with a bookmark in Gnome (if the directory
doesn't exist then Gnome will hide it automatically). Can a similar
thing be done in XFCE and KDE?

The launcher should be pointing to ~/.wine/dosdevices/c:, which should
always point to whatever the correct c:\ drive is. That's addressed in
the other bug report, I believe.

This message: wine: could not load LC:\\windows\\system32\\itunes.exe
means that itunes.exe was not in the folder you ran that command from.
Try launching iTunes from its shortcut in Applications-Wine-Programs,
or alternatively changing to the directory within the terminal before
running
