Just updated it, and bug is still there. I've also compiled from source
and bug is there. Added the disable-xscreens... to command line and
config file, and bug is there. It was NOT there in Ubuntu 9.04.
INCREDIBLE!!! No developper paying attention to this? Then why continue
releasing new
running udevadm trigger
before unmounting. Made no difference.
It also made no difference running it after plugging the USB drive back in.
By the way I am now running Release 9.10 karmic, Kernel
2.6.31-14-generic and GNOME 2.28.1

Bump. This issue caused suspend to fail on my Thinkpad T61 and desktop
effects wouldn't work either. I upgraded the xserver-xorg-video-intel
package and both problems went away. Took me a long time to diagnose
this.

I am using Ubuntu Jaunty 64bit, and get the same error when I try to
start Firefox-3.5(Segmentation fault). I installed Firefox-3.5 from
Synaptic. I also have xulrunner 1.9 installed.

I did just upgraded to the PPA from your archive and now it's working for me
also.
It's a Toshiba Tecra A9.
Device 'AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint TouchPad':

Synaptics Edges (255): 120, 830, 120, 650
Synaptics Finger (256): 14,
I just did a clean install of Alpha4.
- The touchpad xfree driver is not installed, so tap-to-click did not work
- After installing the driver, everything work, with exception of edge scrolling

I did change --with-ruby into --without-ruby in debian/rules and did
rebuild with dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b
Another question is why intrepid has a binary package, but are not able

Thanks, it seems as if the sl-modem-daemon2.9.9.d+e-pre2-5 and the
sl-modem_2.9.9d+e-pre2.orig.tar.gz together work on dapper. Now the only issue
