Kernel 2.6.27 broke a lot of web camera support. If you want to use
zoneminder you have to use 8.10 or lower. Or pull the older kernel down
from the mainline PPA and use ksplice to upgrade the kernel or recompile
yourself.

Well zonemonder does not work with either Creative Webcam LIVE! nor
Logitech Webcam, both usb. Cheese works perfectly with both cameras. But
it appears mythzoneminder or mythzmserver does start but, renders no
picture because zoneminder is not working for me with these two cameras.

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
Firefox-3.5 Show my windows tabs from last time does not work. That is
basically the problem in a nutshell. It worked fine when I used the
preview from the Mozilla repositories.

I solved this for me. The cause, garbage BIOS (ver. P08)from XFX for my
680iLT. I had to use the BIOS for the board above mine (ver P33). Once I
flashed to P33 BIOS for this board, ALL is well. P07 does not have the
best Wolfdale support. P33 has the best support. I had no idea I had to
use a BIOS
I do not have nor have I ever had toshiba_acpi module load, and the

It's the toshiba_acpi module, when loaded - all access to vt-x
