This was actually tied to a samba issue it seems per bug 330626. I am
marking as fix release and closing this report. If it is still an issue,
I urge you to reopen this report with any further information that might
help me to reproduce this and send it upstream accordingly. Thank you!

Absolutely the same problem (Invalid command: net rap server)
Search in network work well,
but mounting falils too with message:
The share //JARDIK-PC/Work could not be mounted:
Datails domain name too long.
(maybe this is connected to this bug too maybe it is other bug..?)
