No, I don't have a config.log for this, it's the simplest test case I could
think about,
that is, command line compilation of an example app provided by wx2.8-examples
package.

I guess there's a packaging problem too.
When I copy /usr/share/doc/wx2.8-examples/examples/samples/minimal/minimal.cpp
somewhere,
and try to build it using g++ -o minimal minimal.cpp `wx-config --cxxflags
--libs`, I get:
minimal.cpp:62: error: invalid use of incomplete type 'struct wxFrame'
Vincent: do you have a config.log like Matthias was requesting in the
comment before yours by any chance? I no longer had the one in question
by the time that comment was posted, and I haven't managed to get back
to that project to try to generate a new one yet.

I already had that installed, and I tried re-compiling between
reinstalling each of the rpms. That doesn't change the fact that
reinstalling the rebuilt libwxgtk2.8 packages fixed the problem.
