I am not sure whether this really is related to virtualbox or might be a
kernel issue: In my environment, I managed to boot up any VM reliably
after, in the VM configuration, disabling VT-x/AMD-V support (which is
not really what one wants on a Core2 Duo that actually supports VT).

This is probably a libreadline issue, but in 9.04 when I press the up arrow in
tintin++ to invoke previous commands, the last line is erased and the command
is placed at the first column. It was working fine in 8.10.

You are correct, the plugins require firefox 3.0
(http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/adblock-plus). I will mark it invalid
though, because when firefox 3.5 hits the street, the dependency
problems will be solved.
Feel free to comment / reopen the bug if you're not satisfied.

If you type about:plugins without the quotes in the address bar, that
will show the plugins being used.

Maybe a lesson could be learned for the next time a pre-release version
of firefox is packaged? (Other packages work correctly: for example,
most Emacs add-ons work with emacs-snapshot.)

Well I really hope so as not only can we now not connect to aMSN but the web
cam problem still hasnt been fixed either! I heard that there was a fix or
workaround about 4 weeks ago. I've recently moved from Windows and this is
now starting to annoy me. In my opinion this sort of thing may make

Yes, it's xulrunner. I know it's a test release in a beta OS, but since
I'm a silly man I use FF 3.1 as my main browser, and that's where all my
bookmarks etc is. :)
Anyhow, here's a working workaround until packages get back in sync:
