I think that about a year ago I had a similar problem on a borrowed
notebook. I don't remember if it has Intel or AMD CPU, but it had
virtualization support and turning on using it in VirtualBox caused
everything to run a few times slower.
So it seems it's a long-time issue... Did sb report it to

Heavy, thanks for your feedback. The version in Jaunty is the same upstream
version as on Intrepid.

This is not a bug, it's just how GnuPG works. Yes, it prints two
separate lines of characters. Yes, it can take a really long time on
some systems without entropy - one person said it took 2 1/2 hours on
his system. I don't know why this it - you'll have to take this up with
the GnuPG folks.

Based on #4, a quick workaround for people who can't wait for an official fix
is to copy the intel.ids file that I attached (saved from before running the
update) to /usr/share/xserver-xorg/pci

Thanks for your bug report. I heard some rumours on the forums that the
last 2.9.0 was not working correctly for some people, but unfortunately
nobody there provided any information like log files.

Installed skrooge with apt-get install skrooge. Started skrooge, then

Could I have you remove (or rename) your ~/.eclipse your workspace. Then
after eclipse has loaded (and the dropins should have been handled),
close eclipse and find $WORKSPACE/.metadata/.log (usually
~/workspace/.metadata/.log) and post it here.
