Hmm, I see what you mean. However, my test on a directory with a
trailing space (using 7.5.3 on debian lenny) did not bounce me back to
the root music folder. It showed me blank contents of the directory,
even though it had tracks in it.
I still have my doubts about it being a MySQL issue, but it

No. "Music Folder" is the only browse mode that doesn't use the
database. Instead it reads straight from the OS.

On my plugcomputer I upgraded from 7.5.3 to 7.6 latest nightly. Is there
any advantage (mem usage etc) in removing MySQL from Debian 6?
