I'm trying to set up Jivelite running under PiCorePlayer on Raspberry Pi
with Touch screen. Everything is working perfectly and I can connect the
PicorePLayer to my Vortexbox running LMS. All works well.
When the piCoreplayer (Jivelite) is turned off I want to display the

How though can we add large capacity storage (i.e. hard drives) media

Is there a plan to release a 64 bit version of piCorePlayer which will
function on the new Raspberry Pi 3 (64 bit) ?

Just curios if mansr (the author of tha sox patch) and others are now
writing about that matter other than in C.A. forum, that seems to me is
not up to date, considering what people are reporting here.
Hope is more clear.
Hi Guys
FYI Only really
There seems to be a slight problem with the squeezelite "-G" option in
the GUI of Pcp 2.03 (*Only after insitu update from 2.02, Clean install
works OK *)
When you set the -G option from the GUI "Power On/Off GPIO" setting
changes have no effect (are not saved or used).
Hi guys,
I thought it was a nice idea to share my working in progress
piCorePlayer setup. I just need to fit a solid aluminium volume knob to
the rotary encoder. The idea is to attach the volume control to the
transparent top...more pictures to come:cool:
Happy listening!

LOL. My local builds are using a "-Z" option to do something very
similar..

I have a strange issue, which I've witnessed for the second time now:
After several hours of playback, the audio output stops. The VU meters
are not moving. LMS thinks the player is playing music (progress bar is
moving in LMS). From time to time I'm hearing a very short burst as if

Macro can you confirm that all your stuff went into Ralphs fork? And
Ralphs fork can be considered as a kind of new squeezelite master?
Thx.
BTW: There's also a sox fork with offers PCM DSD/DOP conversion.

Good catch, thanks. Fortunately the only problem it has caused is that
8kHz sample rate support was disabled.

There are 18 sample rates in the array with your patch, but
MAX_SUPPORTED_SAMPLERATES is still the original 16.

No, it does not. It can play multi-channel FLACs but only with two
channel output. Only the front left and front right channels will be
used from the FLAC, all other channels will be dropped.

I was briefly looking into different "NO-DAC" projects ongoing on the
net.
Basically these use Amanero or JLSOUNDS USB-I2S/DSD interfaces with
direct DSD processing capabilities, feeding the DSD stream into a basic
LowPassFilter. There are different projects with different complexity

I love the new LMS functionality. I tested this on one of my pi b+

great for a first release!
My main pi2 will remain with max2play for now (I use a large sd card for
my music) but in the future it will be swapped to picore
