Ethernet has better reliability and throughput, especially on a Pi, so
it will give less of a risk of dropouts. If by "soundquality" you mean
something else, I suggest discussing it in the "audiophile"

Pi/Picoreplayer with the LMS.
Ethernet is the most stable connection.
But what about soundquality? What do you recommend to get the best
soundquality, wifi or ethernetcable?

server then installed flickr as an app to use the option to display
photos from Flickr as Screensaver in Jivelite (Image Viewer option).
