The automatic tagging is better than nothing at all! I found the rescan
feature, but not clear.

Vortexbox is a Fedora based distro that lets a Linux newby build a
headless LMS server that just works.

Easytag is not fully automatic, it gives you the ability to calculate
the cddb disc id from a directory full of files (assumed to be a single
album) then do a lookup. It's up to you to choose the right match. It's
quite powerful and can fill tags from filenames or name files from tags
etc. I use

There are no boxes to untick in my version of LMS. Only the categories

Tags are essentiall for a working LMS experience :/

Er, yes, it's in the picture above, just untick the entries you don't
want to see.
