Hi Jeff, thanks for testing. In noticed the options field is different.
Out of the blue I suddenly realised I copied the settings of the shares
from the old server as for the rights on shares etc.
Have to go for a few days but will create a fresh share with plain
simple rights and try to mount

I managed everything, i really appreciate your help, thank you!
A closely related thing - is it possible to get a better frame refresh
rate on a 480x320 3.5 waveshare display? I tried setting the Frame
Buffer refresh rate to 60, 50, 30, but it doesn't perform any better.
Linux on the box is unfortunately not an option, sorry. Even a windows 7
box is able to use the shares and I did enable SMB1 already.

You need one that supports linux. There are a few that I know you need
to use windows software to change the chipset configuration so it works
on Linux...
But I would just google around to find some information.
piCorePlayer a small player for the Raspberry Pi in RAM.

Keeping local modifications in .jivelite/.. is the supported
method for user modifications. Apps like Custom Clock use that folder
too
Just make a backup, and also keep a backup elsewhere.

Just do a backup of pCP when you've finished your edits - this will
ensure that your new skin will still be in

My apologies if this has been asked, but I tried to follow every
guideline I found and I may be missing something.
My setup:
Raspberry 3 + justboom digi hat -> TOSLINK -> RME ADI-2 DAC

Picoreplayer 6.0 with pcp-dsdplay extension.
Squeezeboxlite without any -D settings so it should

Tried with firewall completely disabled, no luck.
Found
my problem with 192kHz no sound is NOT on a Pi3B+ - just installed there
and no issue.

I now have setup a Pi3+ and now 192kHz is working as expected. So it
seems a Pi4/4GB problem...

Just restart Jivelite - it will load anything in that .jivelite/userpath
folder in preference to the default versions.

I have seen a decent howto on setting up an OpenVPN client on
piCorePlayer -
https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?106895-Running-picoreplayer-over-a-VPN
- but has anyone successfully set up an L2TP VPN client on one?
I see that there are tinycore specific L2TP extensions but I can't
If installing piCorePlayer 6.0, do I need to do a firmware update to the
rPi4 to get the latest firmware? Would I do this *after* installing and
setting up piCorePlayer? Thanks.

Thanks, Ralphy. I had tried both resetting it, and removing it and
adding it

On the screen now is a menu with:
My Music
Choose Player
Settings
Quit
"My Music" just gives me an error screen that says, "To
Hi Ralphy,
I've finished evaluating your mod for the "When off not being detected"
problem.
Sorry to take so long, I thought I found an inconsistency due to having
one pCP with Touchscreen and one with HDMI out as they behave
differently before and after the mod !
Here are my results, first
