I was mainly concerned that the SSD was being used as a swap drive or
something similar that would be writing to it too often.
I've used multiple Pis with SD cards for years. Not a single one card
failed so far. The SD card in my main system must be 4-5 years old.
Would there be any benefit
Thanks.

Would there be any benefit to going to an 8GB memory model of the CM4?

Don't worry: 1.5G are used for buffers, 1.8G caches. LMS only uses
around 200MB.

Hi!
I've set up PiCorePlayer on Raspberry Pi4. Everything seems running
fine, except Waveshare 7'' Touchscreen (with case, hdmi) is not working

I am building a server/player with a Raspberry pi CM4 module that uses
piCorePlayer 8.1.0 64 bit. I am using the LMS (slimserver as well as
the player (squeezelite) and a 5" dsi touch display with Jivelite.
I am curious about the memory requirements. The CM4 module has 4GB
memory and 32GB
Taking Ralphy's advice - my suggested command line would be now
Code:
squeezelite -n AES -a ::24:1 -u E -Z 38400 -r 48000-48000 -d all=debug -o
hw:CARD=RAVENNA
If choppiness continue try increasing ALSA buffer size such as
Code:
