When mapping a network drive on Win10, credentials were required and I
have successfully used the Samba user and password entered in the webUI.
On a different PC with a new installation,

I haven't seen a requirement to include the workgroup name in Win 10

Yes, I carefully followed the setup instructions. I have done four
servers now and have never encountered this issue.

I'm setting up a piCorePlayer server with LMS for a friend. After some
initial problems, his Windows 11 PC has discovered the pi on his network
but I can't get past the Network Credentials sign in when trying to map
it as a network drive. I assume I should use tc as user name and piCore,

I have the same image file properties and can delete these files in file
explorer. I use a mapped network drive for LMSfiles.

Thanks!I learned something new and that's the issue. My copied
playlists have the path from my

Good tip...thanks.

I have successfully set up a new RPi4 with picoreplayer and LMS and my
music files and Playlists are on a USB HD. Everything is fine except my
playlists are showing in LMS as "empty". The name lists appear in LMS
but each one is empty.
The playlist folder is separate from the music library

Interestingly, both versions return the following...
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ nslookup picorplayer.sourceforge.net
Server:208.67.222.222
Address 1: 208.67.222.222 resolver1.opendns.com

This worked...it's proceeding through the update process now. I tried
the google dns earlier but didn't reboot. Out of curiosity,
I use OpenDNS settings in my router. I left the nameserver field blank
and it auto filled with the router IP. I just tried inserting my OpenDNS
in that field..208.67.222.222, with the same result.

I use a static IP on thepi with dhcp disabled.
The command shows
tc@piCorePlayer:~$ nslookup picorplayer.sourceforge.net
Server:192.168.0.2

I'm currently running 3.2. I've been unable to update using the insitu
feature for several versions now and keep getting this

changed to block the update.
I have no internet connection issues and can access sourceforge through

You should now have a Plex icon on your VB browser home page. It will
take you to this URL.

I updated from 2.06 to 3.0 with a new image. When I try the insitu
upgrade to 3.02 I get this error message...Sourceforge not accessible!!
I can access Sourceforge through the piCorePlayer link or directly
through my browser and download the image file, but not with the insitu
feature. Can anyone

When trying the in situ update with 2.06 I have been getting the

Any solution?

I seem to recall you were experiencing drop puts with HDMI. It sounds
like this is no longer an issue?

Well, that's about 10 cents/day for 5 pi's. I commend your interest in
saving energy but I bet you could easily achieve much more by just
looking around the house.:)
I also experience dropouts when connecting my RPi B+ to my processor by
HDMI. It's wired ethernet and I too switched out various cables with no
luck. If no solution can be found, I will add a HiFiBerry Digi and use
coax to my pre/pro, which has an excellent DAC/analog section.

Hi jfo,
You need a proper text editor.
The last line should be:

It should look something like this:

Hi jfo,
Insert your SD card into your Windows PC.
The boot partition should now be mounted as a drive letter.
Using a text editor, add disable_audio_dither=1 to the end of
config.txt file
Safely unmount SD card.
Insert SD card into Raspberry Pi.
Boot.
