I guess I need to take with me fstab for network mounting and
server.prefs for my lms configuration. Anything else?

Hi,
I'll get my rb pi 4 4gb in a few days and wonder what files I should
transfer to the new pi when setting up LMS? I guess I can't just plug in
the old memorycard and it will work?

I'm using a 3+ now and had to increase the swap file because tinysql was
using every memory and swap available

Any recommendations on what memory card to use for lms on a pi?
At work we use pi for displaying information with rise vision. Here we
use cheap industrial SD cards. But these seems to fail within a year. We
also use pi for temperature surveillance of freezers and refrigerators.
Here we use

uefi is a newer than bios. so if bios don't support uefi then it won't
detect usb formated as uefi. bios can also be set up with only uefi and
then it will not detect regular boot usb
SB Radio x2, SB Duet, Squeezelite
try and check uefi boot, might be that usb is or is not uefi or bios is
or is not uefi

I'll do some more testing. I don't need Lms running on my htpc as that
pc is not powered on 24/7.
My test pi already work with the startup script, but it needs to finish
scanning before I can test it against htpc with the power on resume
setting in Lms
If all fails I guess test pi and htpc
I would guess Lms is started first as it start as a service and
squeezelite start as Startup Applications.

I tested this.
1) If lms and squeezelite is on same pc it doesn't autoplay after
startup. But it does autoplay if i start playing, kill squeezelite
process
I guess it just could be a command in the startup command or a setting
in player settings. It could be a easier way that through scripts.

My goal is that it starts to play my music when pc starts and will

from hdmi to a receiver (same with all other audio from the pc).
When I start the squeezelite now manually I can also have kodi play
audio at the same time,
What's the difference between pulse and alsa? Sound quality? I have not
activated the Nvidia driver after it crashed after an update and had to

I'm not home now, but can post the error message

It reacts to alsamixer so I assumed I was using that

I tried to get squeezelite to start as a service and it startet as root,
but used 100% cpu. After removing the startup script and starting it
through application startup it starts as user and I can push play to
start the music. This is my own code and not the gerrelt code.

It's my htpc so only one logon user. I've got it to start when i log on
through startup application (path/squeezelite -o pulse start)
The user auto logon on startup, but I use kodi to put it to sleep when
not being used, so I have to write password to wake it up.
Will control whats being played
Is it possible to get squeezelite to start playing music on startup on
ubuntu?

my question is: is it possible to install lms completely on another
disk?
