OK, I will concede WiFi won't work as desired (noted above).

I'm not sure how far you are going to get with that before you hit a

Humm. Maybe my poor terminology. I'm interested to enable wireless to
allow iPad WiFi access to LMS web interface on Wandboard; but the
wireless interface doesn't need to penetrate any further than the
Wandboard. The Wandboard CSOS web configuration page shows other
wireless networks (it can see
Its an AP or a completely separate network ? Which is not so good
either.
Is the iPad not supposed to be able to see the rest of your network ?
It should work right now assuming you have wifi on your normal network
and that the wakeboard is connected to that same network via Ethernet ?
Your starter guide notes helped - I have successfully booted, set
timezone, mounted the server (manual and auto), configured LMS and
scanned library, and streamed music to a squeezebox via hard wired
network interface. Most excellent.
I'm looking for WiFi setup hints to access to LMS on

sorry, missed sudo off the mount command, you need to be a superuser.
Code:

by the way, after about a week of this all being jibberish you begin to

Thanks so much, it worked!
I already can see that webinterface is a lot faster than on my raspberry
pi.
Now it is happily searching ;-)

I can't do a dummies guide, because I'm a dummie when it comes to stuff
like this but to mount a drive you need to get to the command line of
the Wandboard. Heres a starter for 10 off the top of my head, but come
back with questions when you are stuck. First load up PuTTY (it's a

Thanks chunkywizard, will try as soon as I get my new toy. I am sure
this guide will be very helpful for many new users - maybe it should
also be made part of the Community Squeeze FAQs, so the info will not
get lost.
Even though the Community player was not invented to run a server, it

Thanks for sanctity checking Clive, I was doing it off the top of my
head.
I'm not going to put this in the FAQ as Clive tells me it is a short
term need as hopefully CSOS will have a GUI for this stuff in the
future.
If you can't wait for that then proceed (with caution) using my

I found some hints here: http://eewiki.net/display/linuxonarm/Wandboard
It looks like the board and case are available from Digi-Key and
Mouser.
Is there a performance difference between solo and dual? (intended use
is LMS with 50K track library)
Is there a recommended power supply and sdcard?

yes a Dummies guide for mounting network shares would be great, I am
sure I will also be needing this info soon, just ordered my wandboard.
Am really looking forward to seeing how it will do performancewise
compared to the raspberry Pi - which is already pretty good, but the

Greg, there isn't a starter guide for getting LMS running on the
Wandboard. At the present time, you need to plug
After you have the share mounted there is really nothing to it. You go
to ipaddress:8080, go to the server tab, and click enable and start.
Then you go to ipaddress:9000 and follow the instructions. You start
by putting in your mysqueezebox details or pressing skip, then you point

You could go for the new ReadyNAS products and use a Wandboard to run
LMS.
I tried LMS on the Wandboard yesterday and it is very fast. You can
