So, all worked fine with ethernet connections, however when I try to use
wireless the connection to the server fails. To be more specific, the
player works fine with a wireless connection, however the server only is
reachable if it's connected by ethernet to the router. I've tried this
with the
forgot to reset server ip address, everything working fine.

epoch1970, thanks, I should have thought of that. I must have enabled
the firewall with default rules sometime in the past. All works fine
now.
