I know that you can change it manually and will do, but like I said: IMO
a better default for pCP should be considered instead of changing all my
devices by hand each time after doing a full install.
feel free to change the ip address that your system uses on the tweaks
page.

Confirmed:
Had this dropped in FW:
IN=pppoe2 OUT=eth1.107 MAC= SRC=8.8.8.8 DST=10.10.10.33 LEN=84 TOS=0x00
PREC=0x00 TTL=117 ID=0 PROTO=ICMP
Temporarly opened this up.
Now working!

There is a setting on the tweaks page. Internet IP Check. Where you
can use a different IP address to check your internet connectivity.

Might have found my own solution.
It seems that when we issue an UPDATE, the piCorePlayer issues a PING
(ICMP) to 8.8.8.8 (google DNS).
My FW is open, EXCEPT for ICMP...
Let me tweak this out and let you know.

RPi 4 (running 8.1.0)
I alway get the following error:
INTERNET NOT ACCESSIBLE!!
Tried both with ehternet and wifi.
