Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Raspberry Pi 3 Wifi not working with picoreplayer 3.20

See reply #20 in 'this thread' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107352-Announce-piCorePlayer-3-20/page2). In my case, I am using a Boss DAC hat. I gave up on the built in wifi and used a spare TP Link router as a bridge to my main network, where my LMS resides. This setup works fine - just not very elegant. Other options are to get a supported dongle, preferably one that runs at 5Ghz to avoid interference with some DACs. It is sort of a shame since I had assumed that one of the advantages of the Pi 3 was the built-in wifi. wtnh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36993 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107458 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Then all my files are well listed in my LMS (I can make a screenshot tonight), and indicates the 24Bit / 192kHz in the properties of my files. I can read absolutely all the files present on my USB key without any worries. The one and only worry is the 48kHz present on the display of the Alientek, while the files read are 192kHz. I'm afraid that the USB Audio output converts the files to 48kHz before sending them to the Alientek. Good to see you have it working. For your future reference; when installing LMS/Squeezelite on Raspbian I always follow these instruction http://www.gerrelt.nl/RaspberryPi/wordpress/tutorial-stand-alone-squeezebox-server-and-player-for-bbq/ Ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107490 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Thanks for your answers, I try tonight with the 2 settings in "Ouput Setting" and I will tell you the results. I think my USB drive is mounted correctly. I followed the normal steps with "Set USB Mount" etc ... respecting the warnings that you show on your screenshot. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] RPi Zero W Service running but no web interface
I don't recall raspbian having a firewall enabled by default, but I would suspect the server has not successfully started. A) check the LMS log file (tail it) B) check the port: fuser 9000/tcp Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk -- Hardware: 3x Touch, 1x Radio, 2x Receivers, 1 HP Microserver NAS with Debian+LMS 7.9.0 Music: ~1300 CDs, as 450 GB of 16/44k FLACs. Save the usb and reboot then go back to the page and select "Output Setting" There should be one or two options to select. Choose one, save and reboot. See how you go. Try another if the first choice does not work Ronnie Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107489 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix

Solved! No idea why but I uninstalled logitechmediaserver_7.9.0_arm.deb, tired unsuccessfully to install logitechmediaserver_7.9.0_all.deb (gave error) then reinstalled logitechmediaserver_7.9.0_arm.deb and now it is all working. [SlimDevices: Unix] RPi Zero W Service running but no web interface
Hi I have a fresh and updated install of Raspbian on a Pi Zero W I have installed logitechmediaserver_7.9.0_arm.deb But local:9000 doesnt connect (or when using IP:9000 on other devices) I have checked with Code: sudo service logitechmediaserver status and it is running Any ideas? I simply installed LMS by double clicking on the .deb file and did not get the on screen installation options that I seem to remember from a previous install on another device - should I get these options / am I installing it correctly?
