Setting up this card shoould be extremely simple. Select correct card,
Save and Reboot. No typing required.
Check if your card is recognized, look on the Squeezelite settings page

Oh ok well it doesn't work for me for some reason. It shows up as a
player and I can play songs from the web interface but I get no sound
from the headphones.

The issue with on board sound was related to squeezelite defaulting to
use mmap. With the pi4 being a 64bit kernel, mmap doesn't work. So you
just need to turn off mmap in squeezelite. Which is done automatically
now.

Is it a pi4b
I have the cache on the same USB3 disk as my music, with the result that
my pCP installation only uses 106Mb on the SD card. I backup my SD card

True, the cache will grow. LMS doesn't do a good job of tidying up after
itself. I've just deleted 600MB of redundant files, Qobuz which I
trialed, and Spotty which I

has this been resolved? I can only find one mention in the whole thread.
I've got a pi4 i'm setting up as an LMS and wanted to just use the
onboard sound with some headphones to test playback. Music is playing
but no sound

I've got PCP 5.0.0 running normally and got a HifiBerry Digi+ Pro (yay

As it is related to RC1 and LMS, I don't know where to expose my

That is why I would do everything from the pi side. And use a power
board to turn the pi on/off. Then the pi controls a relay that powers
