Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 8.0.0
Thank you all for the replies - they gave me the confidence to go for it, but not before backing up the whole card, of course. ;) I performed an 8.0.0 > 8.1.0 Insitu update on my 3 partition setup and am happy to report that it worked without a hitch. It appears that all my pCP settings survived, as did the partition scheme, as did the LMS data on partition 3. The screenshot below showing the partitions is from after the update to 8.1.0, and you can see that Labels, LBA Start, LBA End, Size are identical to before the update (see my previous post). [SlimDevices: Unix] JiveLite not displaying with piCorePlayer 8.1.0 on Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
Hi folks I've just upgraded my HiFi stack Pi to use a Pi Zero 2 W and the latest piCorePlayer. The good news is that this works a treat on the while in that I'm getting audio via HDMI and I can see JiveLite start as I get the splash screen ... but thereafter the TV is blank. If I ssh into the pi I can see that the jivelite process is running. Noting 'Ralph's README' (https://github.com/ralph-irving/tcz-jivelite#readme) for JiveLite which says: - You need a keyboard to configure JiveLite initially and either a composite or hdmi monitor connected.- ... I plugged in a keyboard and it looks like JiveLite can see it as pressing stops and starts the music. So I think I'm _almost_ there I think, but there's clearly a step I'm missing. Here's my current JiveLite settings: 36401 Can anyone suggest what step I may have missed? Nothing is done to the third partition as a part of the update process.
