Now I've installed 7.0.0 32 bit and LMS 8.1.1 on my Pi 4B. Tidal worked
immediately, Spotify not.

As it shouldn't be required I've not installed the helper. As I
understand this error is not related to the helper, I just must get a
Client ID.

Never had this problem before, but I haven't used Spotify lately. For
now I'm good with having Tidal. Might get a Client ID later...

Thanks for prompt reply Ronnie!

I think I will install 7.0.0 32 bit and LMS 8.1.1 on my Pi 4B then. I
don't think I have any advantages of running 64 bit.

I never used the helper before, but with 64 bit it seems to be needed.
garym already pointed out where to fin more on this.

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] ANNOUNCE: piCorePlayer 7.0.0

2020-12-31 Thread Mirage

I've been running a Pi 3B+ with pCP and LMS as server for my SB:s.
Everything worked fine, including Spotify and Tidal.

Now I felt like trying something new and installed pCP 7.0.0 64-bit with
LMS 8.2 on Pi 4B. Made a new installation, but moved LMS library and
settings with USB-drive where I have music library. Everything seems to
work fine, except Spotify and Tidal.

Spotify I got "half working" with the helper app, but I still have the
issue that probably needs a client ID to be solved.

Tidal I can' get to work at all. I've had it working since the new login
at mysqueezebox.com was required. I don't find any other threads here
about issues with Tidal.

Is it worth trying to get this to work with my new server, or should I
go back to the old?

Well, then I'm sure I don't have it! Then I guess just need to find it
and how to install it, I'm reading some other threads right now.

If I remember correct I had to do as I described above also when I went
from b9 to rc1. Now I've been running the final version of 6.0.0 since
it was released, but I don't remember if I did the same again after that
installation.

This patch that you mention, is it included in the installation of 6.0.0
(final) or something that needs to be done after the installation?

Thanks for your reply!

Kind of, but I'm not sure what I did...:o

I think what solved the problem was that I went to the tweaks page were
the setting for timezone is and pressed Save. The correct timezone was
already there, I just pressed Save. I'm not sure if it was this or
something else that solved the problem, but the clock is now correct in
all of my players.

Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] BETA: piCorePlayer6.0.0 - PI4 support

2020-02-15 Thread Mirage

I recently updated from pCP 5.0.0 to 6.0.0-b9. Everything works great,
except one small thing.

In my two "newer" players (Touch and Radio) the time (clock) is correct,
but in my two legacy players (Boom and Classic) the time is one hour
behind.

I've been looking through the settings in pCP under tweaks and I have
the correct timezone for Sweden (CET-1CEST,M3.5.0,M10.5.0/3). I've also
checked in LMS (7.9.2), but I can't find anywhere so set different
settings for time for the players.

Anyone else who has this problem?
