The other driver was written by someone else (not Allo) and it was around the time the Piano 2.1 came out. The Piano 2.1 is dual dacs, so there may be an issue using that driver on the old Piano. I would try a driver from one of the other PCM512x cards (hifiberry, justboom) Perhaps, drop allo
