 The Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council (PAC) of Georgia is a state government 
agency which provides legal, technical, fiscal and victim services 
assistance to state, local, and federal prosecuting attorneys and law 
enforcement.  The PAC also conducts numerous basic and continuing legal 
education programs throughout the year. The PAC provides an automated Case 
Management System (CMS) titled Tracker for voluntary use by District 
Attorney and Solicitor General offices in the state of Georgia. 

 

The Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia is seeking a skilled Business 
Analyst candidate who will reach out to prosecutor offices in the State of 
Georgia to identify their “as-is” and “to-be” processes for sharing 
discovery with defense attorneys. The information gathered will eventually 
be used as the foundation to design and develop an eDiscovery module within 
Tracker that will make the sharing of discovery more efficient on a 
statewide basis.

  

*JOB FUNCTION*

 

Initially visit a prosecutor office onsite to determine the best approach 
to gather discovery processes and develop a template for use in other 
offices.

 Communicate with reps in prosecutor offices throughout the state to 
identify current discovery processes and improvements that are needed and 
document findings.

 Compile a final report which includes the discovery information for as 
many prosecutor offices as possible and summarize the findings noting any 
consistencies in  the discovery process across offices.

 

 

*EDUCATION*

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or a 
related field from a four-year accredited college or university is required.

 

*EXPERIENCE/SKILLS*

 At least 5+ years of related experience in Business Analysis is required. 

 A background in Criminal Justice is required.

 Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Must be a self-starter and take the initiative to setup teleconference 
times with the appropriate office rep(s) in the various prosecutor offices.

 Must be able to listen carefully and ask pertinent questions as you 
collect information.

 Must be able to organize written information in a clear, concise and 
logical manner.

 Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and electronic mail.

 Experience with multimedia is a plus to better understand the discovery 
process within prosecutor offices as discovery can be shared in various 
multimedia formats.

 

 

*JOB STATUS and LOCATION*

 

This is a full-time contract position for approximately three months or the 
purchase order balance reaches zero whichever occurs first.  Hourly rate 
iscommensurate 
with education and experience. Job location is initially at the PAC office 
in Morrow, GA for approximately two weeks and then some telework is 
possible if desired. Travel within the state will be less than 
10%.  Standard dress code is business casual attire.  This position will 
report to the Director, Information Technology Division.


*Requirement 2)  Aegis Senior Analyst Programmer  *GA DPH, Atlanta , Georgia

The Department of Public Health is seeking a highly qualified candidate for 
the position of Senior Programmer Analyst.

Under limited supervision the senior programmer analyst will serve as a 
project resource working with the Maternal and Child Health Aegis 
application on the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) project. This position 
will be responsible for modifying and enhancing the current VB6 and Oracle 
public health clinical application. This position will also require the 
candidate to work with a small defined project team to diagnosis, design, 
develop and test enhancements of new application code. The selected 
candidate must have senior knowledge of Visual Basic 6 and Oracle PL/SQL. 
The candidate must be able to work with a diverse project team and work in 
a highly visible and changing project environment with aggressive timelines.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have at least five years experience using the following 
technologies: Strong VB6 with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Crystal reports. 
Ninety percent of the candidate’s time will be devoted to making 
modifications to a VB6 and Oracle 9i database clinical application.

This position requires at least five years experience with full SDLC 
project lifecycle. The candidate must be experienced in implementing client 
server and web base applications. The candidate must be able to use 
versioning change control and source control systems like Microsoft Visual 
SourceSafe as well as VB6 client server development. The candidate must be 
able to work in a team environment. The candidate must have excellent 
written and verbal communication skills.
